We face a big week of catalysts. Tomorrow the CPI Report for November arrives, giving the Fed one more inflation-related data point to mull over for their meeting and rate hike decision that comes on Wednesday. The ECB and Bank of England are also getting in on the action with their own policy decisions on Thursday. Toss in a retail sales report and traders one heck of a busy week.
Of course, it’s never the news but the reaction that traders care about. Stocks are drifting. Last week’s break of the 20-day moving average killed the vibe, and we need to get back above it to re-ignite the potential for a year-end rally.
