One of the most popular instruments in the market is the call option. Call options are contracts that give the buyer of the option the right to purchase 100 shares at a set price at or before a set date. They are used in many ways, but in their simplest form a trader will buy a call option if they are bullish on a stock (or any underlying instrument).
Long Calls are speculative trades, that can show bigger percentage gains and losses than other instruments. This is because of the inherent leverage in call trading.
If you already trade options, you know how powerful long calls can be. If you do not trade them yet, it is a great time to learn about this instrument.
