Technical analysis can help you determine when to enter a trade, when to exit a trade and assist in countless trading decisions along the way. It truly is amazing and learning the principles of technical analysis should be at the top of your to do list as you enter the world of trading.

The major markets last week predictably traded in a broad range between major support and resistance levels. After the dramatic selloff two weeks ago, there were very few short-term technical levels in play which helped contribute to the sizeable up and down days we experienced last week. Baring a significant catalyst emerging, expect more of the same this week and focus on intraday support and resistance levels as they are your best bet to determine short-term price movement for the upcoming days.
