Markets are down a bit to start the first day of the trading week after a strong rally last week that led to new all-time highs in the market. With the some of the major events that have impacted the market in recent months behind us the market will likely turn to a combination of stimulus, Covid-19 vaccine rollout data and earnings for direction. Earnings season kicks off this week with the major banks reporting and it will be interesting to see if IPOs continue to have their recent success with several companies expected to price this week.
