Time is the most underrated asset out there. Nobody gives a damn about it and then suddenly SNAP!, you’re 60 wishing you were 20 again with plenty of… time.
There is one tip we want to give to you regarding how you use your time, especially if you’re a new trader.
Have you ever noticed that there are days that seem to concentrate all of what is happening in the world and others that you feel the planet has stopped its turning?
Have you also noticed that newspapers, both printed and online, have about the same size, the same amount of content, every single day?
There’s simply too much opinion out there with little to none information. The proportion must be like 5% information to 95% opinion.
Here’s the tip: Focus on facts and avoid opinions.
When we’re brand new in trading we naturally feel insecure but, nonetheless, eager to read everything that’s out there. We surround ourselves with so much “information” that we end up feeling lost and more insecure.
Extract the facts, get rid of the opinions, especially those that forecast something. There’s always an epic fail right around the corner.
If you are reading too much opinion and no information you are creating a wrong map. And having the wrong map is much worse than having no map at all.
Avoid opinions, focus on facts.
