« All he wants is to change the world. »
“You should try to take the set of actions that are likely to prolong civilization, minimize the probability of a dark age and reduce the length of a dark age if there is one.”
Isaac Asimov, The Foundation Trilogy (1974) —
Born in 1971 and raised in the suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa.
Parents divorced in 1980.
Severely bullied at school during childhood.
A self-taught computer programmer at the age of 10.
Avid reader. One of his early idols is Isaac Asimov, from which he took the lesson quoted at the beginning of this daily article.
Moved to the United States at the age of 18.
In 1992, he went to the University of Pennsylvania to study business and physics.
Now, at the age of 48, he is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer/designer of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; co-founder of Neuralink; founder of The Boring Company; co-founder and initial co-chairman of OpenAI. He is also a co-founder of PayPal.
We are talking about Elon Musk. A man whose passion for his own projects is undeniable. A divisive figure, raising both bullish and bearish passionate statements, never neutral; either you love or you hate him; either you buy or you short Tesla. What else would you expect from a person whose sole purpose is to change the world?

The Momentum Tools II
Hey Bloggers! How about those markets? Reaching new highs and just chugging along. WOW! These markets are definitely tying into this blog topic in a big way. Last week we talked about the RSI indicator and how it functions. We discussed both its ability to show overbought and oversold conditions as well as its ability to signal a condition called divergence. Divergence is essentially the picture of slowing momentum. When we see indicators and equities or indexes going in opposite directions then we call it divergence and this “CAN” signal that a change is on the horizon.
