≈ Look out, ’cause here she comes. ≈
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again
–Helter Skelter, The Beatles, 1968–
Helter Skelter was recorded between 9–10 September 1968, exactly 50 years ago. Heavy guitar riff, aggressive drumming, pounding bassline, and Paul screaming at the top of his head. That was the four lads stepping into the hard rock arena, as they did in many areas of the music industry, shaking its grounds and opening the doors for many musicians to come.
We don’t want to go full music critics here. We want to talk about Elon Tesla Musk Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA). You stay one single week away from its chart and, the next thing you know, things ain’t the same anymore.
On one day, the guy puts a Tesla car out there in the ether with his SpaceX project. He is the minstrel of a new generation. Then, he tells everyone on Twitter that he is considering taking his company private, funding secured. The stock skyrockets. A couple of weeks later, he smokes weed while on an interview. The stock plummets. A while ago, a copyright issue over a farting unicorn. God knows where the rainbow ends.
Heaven and Hell, buyers and sellers, fans and haters, are only a mile away from each other. The world is a boring place, but not while Tesla is in it.
Trader, you may be a lover but you ain’t no dancer.
