Tackle Today: New Decoding Buffett Video Out!

«Margin of Safety Time!!!»

Coach Mark here.

I have absolutely loved working on the Decoding Buffett video series with my brother Matt. It has been a fun project and as we create the series, we both have been in awe of the teachings and life of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger. A new video is out and you can watch it here.

Warren Buffett has stated that the three most important words in investing are margin of safety. Munger has added thatThe idea of a margin of safety, a Graham precept, will never be obsolete.”  It is not only important to identify quality companies, it is critical to get them at a sufficient discount where news, the business cycle, random events, and the fluctuations of the market will not impact the long-term virtue of the investment.

We talk about this concept of Margin of Safety in the new video and once again you can watch it here.

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

S&P 500 ($SPY)

S&P 500 continues to work into its weekly moving average pocket. A clean test with some slowing momentum at the rising 20-weekly could be interesting if we get the right development.
