≈ All it takes is a little push. ≈

If you are not already a #TeamTackle member but you are a regular reader of this daily piece of content, you’ve probably noticed by now that we are truly engaged in helping new traders and investors succeed in the market.

The battle against financial illiteracy is one of the most difficult there is in the realms of knowledge mainly because financial education is counterintuitive. Think about it for a second. How hard is it to fight greed, fear, and hope? What about our tendency for procrastination? Humans are composed of 99% guts and 1% intellect. That’s how hard it is the search for higher education in life.

How many times have you heard, as a trader, that you are so smart because you are making money? People tend to think we possess some sort of accurate prediction capabilities.

We don’t. We can’t predict the future and be prepared for it at the same time. It must be one or the other. Because we can’t predict the future, being prepared for it is the only possibility left.

One of the first things we need to do in order to be prepared for the uncertainty and chaos that the future brings is having a routine.

On July this year, we’ve released the article “How to create your daily trading routine in 4 steps”. Today we have a big addition to this post, as many students have asked for it: an Ebook.

“You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.”

The Joker (The Dark Knight, 2008) —

Routine too is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

“Every system must play its role properly, and at exactly the right time, or noise and chaos ensue. It is for this reason that routine is so necessary. The acts of life we repeat every day need to be automatized. They must be turned into stable and reliable habits, so they lose their complexity and gain predictability and simplicity.”

Dr. Jordan Peterson —

It is no different in trading and investing. Fear, greed, hope, laziness, procrastination… they are can’t match the power of the daily routine.
