« The silver bullet food. »
When someone mentions «Italy» to you, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
It’s PIZZA, Santo Dio!
Pizza is everywhere. In every stomach, in every corner of every street in the western world. Margherita, the most basic one, embellished with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, representing the national colors of Italy, was prepared by Raffaele Esposito on June 11th, 1889, to honor the Queen Margherita of Savoy. This guy has secured his place in Heaven.
When you are hungry, you go for pizza. When you want to throw a quick dinner, you go for pizza. If you want to celebrate, you go for pizza. Pizza is the silver bullet food, a magical solution to kill the hunger.
What if you want to make money? Go for pizza too: portfolio design. Every trader should dedicate time and effort to develop their pizzaiolo skills.
A well-balanced, well-thought-out portfolio can work wonders. Some positions will perish and some will turn into profits. The consolidated result counts much more than individual positions. A skilled trader is also a skilled pizzaiolo.
You can go traditional or full-gourmet. A straight forward pizza with 3 slices/3 strategies, an all-weather pizza like Ray Dalio’s or also develop a pizza for every market condition, slicing the exquisite delicacy accordingly.
The craft of pizza making is passed through generations. Just like the pizzaiolos, the best way to learn and master the portfolio design is having a mentor to teach the hows and whats that go behind a balanced portfolio.
Speaking of Italy, there is an Italian guy that knows everything about pizza and sins. His name is Father Guido Stockaducci. Follow him on Twitter @wall_st_priest, confess your trading sins and secure your place in Heaven.

Broker Madness! Part 6
We are back to wrap up the series on Interactive Brokers. We have gone through many of the tools, albeit not all of them as I think there are far too many tools on the Trader Work Station platform. Some of the tools have been helpful and some are very cumbersome in my humble opinion. We are left with just a few items to wrap up and hopefully, I have answered all the questions that were originally posed to me about this platform.
