Hey Matt. What’s your take on USD vs. the Russian Ruble? The Ruble is getting weaker vs. the USD plus it was announce that they were raising their interest rates to 17% from 10.5%. Looks promising for a carry trade and a double win.
How many Pips is your trailing stop loss on the carry trades?
The carry trade would be very bad for the USD/RUB pair. You get positive interest but get killed on the direction
20 Pip trailing stop
USD/JPY got stopped out at 50 pip loss. Looking at getting back in when setup is good
Day trading JPY today was a little frustrating but caught the last break and up for week.
Remember, the Forex Report is a swing trader report. Day trading is vastly different.
