Fight or Flight: Consumer Ignorance

August 24, 2015

By | 7 Comments

Coach Matt discusses the impact of today’s movement to consumers’ retirement accounts. Over the past 25-40 years, consumers have continued to give their financial authority away to Wall Street and the Central Bank. While these entities may cause financial bubbles and crashes, it’s the responsibility of the consumer to control their own financial future, and thus their risk. The signs are there, if you are willing to look, listen, and invest in yourself. If not, get ready for another round of blaming Wall Street for 7-10 trillion in consumer retirement value.

All investing and trading in the securities market involves a high degree of risk. Any decisions to place trades in the financial markets, including trading in stocks, options or other financial instruments, is a personal decision that should only be made after conducting thorough independent research, including a personal risk and financial assessment, and prior consultation with the user’s investment, legal, tax and accounting advisers, to determine whether such trading or investment is appropriate for that user.
