Options Theory: Whole Life Insurance vs. Roth IRA

Let’s discuss the merits of investing via whole life insurance versus a Roth IRA.
Here’s the question:
“Just so I have an understanding, once you become a good trader – what is the kind of return you can expect on average conservatively per year as a new trader?
I’m just trying to weigh my options to allocate my savings and money I want to invest right now for example -cash value whole life insurance (guarantee cash value between 4 to 5% a year) vs Roth IRA.
I basically want to know if it’s a good idea to focus on just my business as a trader and fund my account to the max or use other vehicles like life insurance with cash value.
