I enjoying doing the weekly podcast with my brother Matt. We do it on every Sunday Morning before the futures market opens but enough time over the weekend to digest the week that was. It gives us a change to collectively gather out thoughts, break down the drivers of the market and do out best job of analyzing what comes next. Yesterday we had a discussion on the upcoming earnings season. Matt does a fantastic job breaking down the data on earnings and presented all the raw numbers where we are heading into earnings season. I also enjoyed discussing the themes of earnings season and how they can impact price action in the coming weeks as narratives form. This is something I particularly keen on paying attention to in the coming weeks as the market lacks a clear narrative and earnings season can certainly provide one.
