After a week of very little activity on the economic front, we have a busier week ahead of us. This week is labor data week and the week is chalk full of employment-oriented data in front of us. We get JOLTS job openings data on Tuesday, ADP data on Wednesday, unemployment claims on Thursday, and one of the biggest reports every month with the monthly unemployment report on Friday.

In between data coming in on the labor front every day this week we have a ton of Fed speakers scheduled. I counted at least 13 speeches this week included one from Powell on Wednesday. It will be interesting what the coordinated message is this week and even more interesting if the markets pay attention to the message at all. Powell has been very dovish this year and the market has started to tune out other messages.  

We also have other economic data out of the manufacturing and services sectors of the economy sprinkled throughout the week in what will be a very busy data week.

Gold, oil, currency, stocks, bonds…going to an interesting week and we will break all the action down each day on the halftime report this week!
