The “most important stock in the world” reported after the bell last night and dip buyers were certainly rewarded today. My brother Matt will break down all the numbers in the Halftime Report today but the bulls have certainly recaptured momentum after the earnings report. The question we are always faced with as traders is what comes next.

What comes next for traders is no different really than at any point in this ferocious four-month uptrend. Traders will be on pattern watch. They will be looking for breakouts, pullbacks, high-bases, and all the standard patterns that have treated them very well during this trend. Traders will be looking for opportunities based on technicals to make a buck from both the bull and bear side of the equation. We are exiting earnings season and while there is always a macro catalyst around the corner, the technical patterns will be playable…as they have been this whole time.

Traders will also be analyzing different areas of the market to see where opportunities arise. Gold, energy, ARKK, small-cap, the different sectors….they all aren’t Nvidia and will present their own patterns and complexities.

I always love when a big catalyst event (and I thought this was the biggest of the year) comes and goes. It allows one to just trade. It is a good feeling
