It was another very interesting year in the markets, wasn’t it! 2021 will be remembered as an eventful year will the major market indexes posting significant gains with seemingly every dip on the broad market scooped up in the midst of a strong uptrend. Different areas of the market found themselves in favor in 2021 at different times amidst rotational themes. This likely will remain true in 2022 as well.
Do you know one area of the market that finds itself in favor heading into 2022? Companies with strong fundamentals. Imagine that. With uncertainty around monetary and fiscal policy, we enter 2022 with investors looking to “shore up” their portfolios with companies with strong earnings, great fundamentals, and good valuation. This is a powerful theme as we head into the new year.
Every year Coach Matt and the rest of the teamwork on our own list of 25 companies with great fundamentals and valuation heading into the new year. We call this our Tackle 25 list and we will be releasing this list one week from now along with our other 2022 lists of great opportunities: Dividend Fireworks, Poor Boys Covered Calls, and our fun Dirty Sexy Money list of high volatility opportunities. We are so excited to reveal countless hours of discussion and research that were put into these lists.

After a strong snapback rally last week, we head into the last week of the trading year with the S&P 500 pushing for all-time highs at a resistance zone. The last week of the year tends to be very favorable for bulls and if it is again, we could be looking at all-time highs as the calendar turns.
