As we digest a new round of inflationary data and wait for earnings season to kick off tomorrow, I want to take a minute to discuss the new Warren Buffett video we just released on the Tackle Trading YouTube channel. I have enjoyed doing this video series immensely and you can watch the new video here.  

The concept of a moat is one that Warren Buffett has been discussing for decades. He uses the analogy of a moat around a castle to describe the type of business you should be investing in.

“What we’re trying to do, is we’re trying to find a business with a wide and long-lasting moat around it, surround — protecting a terrific economic castle with an honest lord in charge of the castle.”

In this video we talk about the concept of moat and how you can use it not only find wonderful companies but also how to incorporate the concept in your own personal moat investing style. It was a pleasure to do the video and once again you can watch it here.
